STOTT PILATES® Advanced Reformer Course (AR) Course – Level 2
Learn to use the various Reformer components and accessories to intensify reformer repertoire and provide a stimulating workout for highly conditioned clients. Exercises presented require greater strength, stability & flexibility. Learn 70 new exercises and exercise variations to increase challenge and function for your clients.
What you will learn
This AR course teaches how to design and instruct Level 2 (Advanced) Reformer workouts in personal or group training settings for a range of clients.
- Effective use of the Reformer to enhance torso stability and strength, peripheral conditioning, joint stability, flexibility, balance and coordination
- Effective communication and observation skills, verbal cueing and imagery for performance enhancement and client motivation
- Modifications for specific body types, postural issues and conditions
- Muscular initiation and sequencing of Advanced-level exercises
- Multiple variations for variety and intensity
- 70 exercises and modifications
AR involves 18 hours of instructor training conducted over 3 days

AR course materials include the following manual & dvd:
- Advanced Reformer manual, 2nd Ed.
- Advanced Reformer DVD, 3rd Ed. (2 disc set)
After training, if you choose to become certified in the STOTT PILATES® method, you have 6 months from the last day of your course to sit your exam. If this time expires, you are required to book at least 1 hour with an Instructor Trainer to reinstate your eligibility.
